Annual Presidential Address: Nicholas Mayhew plans to address the four elements of the traditional Quantity Theory (MV = PT) over the course of his Presidency. In his first talk he will look at Money Supply (M) in Britain, turning to consider Prices (P), Transactions (T; ie. GDP) and Velocity (V) in subsequent years. He hopes that the dry matter of theory can be leavened with coin illustrations.
