The U.K. Numismatic Trust

The Trust was a joint creation of the Royal Numismatic Society and the British Numismatic Society. It exists to encourage, support and develop numismatics in the United Kingdom through the award of small research grants.

Since January 2000, the Trust has awarded 11 grants, totalling £3120. Four supported travel expenses for research projects, three involved the metallurgical analysis of coins, two were for the purchase of photographs and supporting literature for research papers, and the remaining two went towards the publication of a mint study and the underwriting of a symposium.
